I did not feel like working out today.  I did an hour of Yoga PLUS Insanity Cardio Abs though.  I am proud of myself for working out twice even though I didn’t want to in the first place.  This is the first time in forever that I have not talked myself out of working out.

I am not sure what the muscle is called but the first day I did Insanity I over-worked the muscle below my calf, on the inside of my leg next to the shin (I’ll have to look it up) and they haven’t stopped hurting yet and it’s on both legs.  It mainly hurts to run or jump which makes this workout extremely challenging. More than it already is, I mean.

SO I was just thinking about how excited I am to run on the treadmill at Joe’s this weekend.  I really love treadmill running, and I really love running in general.  Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a *suitable* running partner yet.  My sister was supposed to run with me and she did once, but then I changed plans one day and she changed the next day and then said “Maybe next week” and never texted me back…understandable, but it still sucks.  Not many people I know are excited about working out.  Turns out I need to add some more fit people to my friend group.  I love the ones I have but I need people to run with, be active with, motivate me, challenge me, etc.  I hope I can do the same for them as well. I have made attempts to get Joe to run with me, but he doesn’t seem interested enough to actually do it, and frankly, night running isn’t my first choice but I would take that over NO running.  I know that I’m doing some hardcore cardio right now, but I’d like to work on my endurance, and running isn’t the same as cardio that gets my heart rate to 186 (191 is my max).

Anyway, enough about the running.  I have an interview on Sunday and I need to work on getting my CPR Certification next month for that.  After the interview, Joe and I are going to Disneyland…quite possibly my favorite place on Earth (so far).  I am really excited to see if Captain EO is re-opened yet.  I still know every word by heart, and I can’t wait to sit down and watch the 3-D awesomeness that it is! 🙂
