Ahh I haven’t done this in a while… a long while. I don’t know why I don’t do this more often, it makes me feel so good to just blog away to some great music.
Tomorrow is Easter for Joe’s family and mine. I have a VICTORY! Maya’s dad wasn’t going to “let” me have her tomorrow. She was upset, sad, etc about it because she only gets to see her cousins a few times a year. Her birthday, Easter, and Christmas Eve are those times. Last year they weren’t able to make it to her birthday, so that made it only twice. She expressed her feelings on not being allowed to attend (due to her father’s spite for me), and I am SO proud of her!!! I can’t even express how proud I am, THAT is how proud I am. Way to stand up for yourself, Mimi!
We have an early morning. Maya went to her dad’s tonight, but we are still 2 hours from the festivities. Joe and I are leaving here at 8am to head to Orange County to pick up Maya, then head to his family’s Easter celebration. Once we’re done there, we will head to my grandma’s house to celebrate with MY family. I’m so ecstatic that this worked out for everyone. Her dad is coming to pick her up around 6 (after work), Joe and I are staying in Orange County until Sunday and will take Maya home with us Sunday night.
I am anxious and excited, and I can’t wait! Happy Easter! = : ) (That’s my version of an Easter bunny. hehe)
